Drake Just Dropped 3 Albums at Once — Iceman, Habibti & Maid of Honour Are Here
Nothing anyone who was awake last night could have imagined on their bingo card for May 2026. Not even the crazy little zombie drake stan boy on the internet could have seen "3 albums in 1 night" coming.
Finally, at midnight ET on Friday, May 15, Drake the Toronto rapper who's been lying low for the past two years following one of the most embarrassing beat downs in hip-hop history came back. Not with one album. Not with two. With three.
Iceman. Habibti. Maid of Honour.
All three dropped right on time. All three are currently streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. And naturally, the internet has gone completely insane.
How Did We Even Get Here?
The path to Iceman began with a block of ice in a car park in Toronto.
In April, a huge 25-foot ice sculpture was found mysteriously installed in the City. It was struck by pickaxes (naturally.Whenever a game gets around $300m in sales, you'll find people smashing ice sculptures), and eventually, the streaming god-kid, Kishka found a bag frozen inside the ice. The bag had one piece of paper — May 15.
Drake announced the date on social media soon thereafter. What nobody knew—what he had managed to keep underwraps—was that he had three albums ready, not just one. The videos he created surfaced during Iceman Episode 4 a YouTube livestream Drake did just hours before midnight.Near the end of the chat he revealed three hard drives on camera.
Two other album titles appeared on the screen. Until a text flashed across the camera: "I made this so that I could make this". And like that, the music biz had a different kind of Friday.
Breaking Down All Three Albums
Iceman-The Main Event
Iceman is Drake's ninth studio album and the project almost his entire fanbase has been waiting on since For All the Dogs dropped in 2023.It features 18 tracks and addresses immediately the obvious topic of conversation the beef with Kendrick Lamar that made 2024 the year of the Charles and left Drake's reputation tarnished in the eyes of the average music consumer.
He's not afraid to talk about it.He's got tracks on the record that reference the scuffle that say Drake is just addressing the beef head on, saying Kendrick's team tried coming to him in his private moments just as the battle rage on in the public eye.
Produced by frequent partner Noah "'40" Shebib, the features are Future who rekindles his consortship with the rapper after their classic What a Time to Be Alive tape, new soul songbird Molly Santana, and 21 Savage.

Habibti — The Surprise Nobody Saw Coming
Habibti is Arabic, a feminine form meaning 'my love'. It's part of the warmer, more sensual feel of the album compared to icy Iceman's cutting edges.
Contains 11 tracks and guest stars Sexyy Red, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Loe Shimmy. If Iceman is Drake settling scores, Habibti is Drake bringing the soft side back—you always knew he could do it, too.

Maid of Honour — The International One
Maid of Honour the most part-UK in sound out of the three, and the inclusion of a mere title points to a Drake opening up to a UK/international audience. The 14-song project has a host of features, including Central Cee Popcaan Sexyy Red, Stunna Sandy and Iconic Savvy.
The CN Tower Moment
At the moment the albums went live, something happened in Toronto that soon would be remembered forever. The CN Tower, arguably the best known landmark in the world, was illuminated to create a frozen appearance—a clear visual reminder of the Iceman concept.
By the time it struck midnight, fireworks had exploded over Toronto's waterfront and sent the fans wild. Then the tower. It was the type of marketing moment—money can buy all it wanted, but only taste could do something with—that Drake, for all you may want to say about him, pulled off.
43 Songs. One Night. What Does It Mean?
Total Tracks: 43. This is not a drizzle. It's a flood.
- Album A: 15 albums Tracks
- Album B: 14 albums Tracks
- Album C: 14 albums Tracks
The cynical read is that this is Drake gaming the streaming algorithms—more tracks=more streams=more chart positions. The charitable one is that he has been hard at work working on something over the last two years under the assumption that the guy was hiding.
The sincere read is likely somewhere in the middle.Drake is a calculated artist. The three album plan, the ice sculpture, the CN Tower stunt, Iceman Episode 4—they all didn't come from a mistake. They'd been scheduled, prepared, and carried out perfectly.
If the music rescues the cultural space lost after "Not Like Us" remains to be seen. One that can't be answered by a simple night out.But for the time being? He's back. At the top of his lungs.
Stream Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour the on Spotify and Apple Music—all three are live at this very moment.
